Every team on the 2026 grid, with cars from their history. Older cars have less grip and power, so pick the same era as your rivals for a fair fight.

Game controllers work too: left stick steers, right trigger is throttle, left trigger is brake, A boosts, X opens DRS, Y changes camera. On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen buttons.
Five pairs of red lights come on one by one. When they all go out, go. Moving before the lights go out is a jump start and costs 5 seconds.
The top ten score 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 points. There is no bonus point for the fastest lap.
Keep at least one wheel on the track. Each time all four wheels go past the white line you get a warning. After the third warning you see the black-and-white flag, and every time after that adds a 5-second penalty. In qualifying, the lap time is deleted.
Soft is fastest but wears quickly, medium is the middle choice, hard lasts longest. Use intermediates (green) on a damp track and full wets (blue) in heavy rain. In a dry race with the pit stop rule on, you must use two different dry compounds, or you are disqualified. The pit lane speed limit is 80 km/h (60 km/h in Monaco and Singapore); going faster costs 5 seconds.
Yellow: danger ahead. Slow down and don’t overtake, or you get 5 seconds. Blue: a faster car is lapping you. Let it pass soon. VSC: Virtual Safety Car. Everyone slows down until the track is clear. Chequered: the race is over.
2011–2025 cars use DRS: in a DRS zone, if you were within one second of the car ahead at the detection point, press F to open the rear wing. It closes when you brake. DRS is off for the first two laps and in the rain.
2026 cars use active aero: in Straight mode zones both wings open for every car (automatic unless you turn the assist off). Overtake mode gives extra electric power on the next lap if you were within one second of the car ahead at the detection point. Boost (Space) spends battery anywhere. Lift off or brake to recharge.
Hitting walls or cars can break your front wing (less grip). A very big crash ends your race.
Team names and colours are used to identify the real teams; there are no official logos, sponsor liveries or real drivers. Circuit layouts come from the f1-circuits dataset by Tomislav Bacinger (MIT licence); elevation comes from the Copernicus 90 m terrain model via Open-Meteo.
Pick your tyres. The crew fits them as soon as you choose.
